Our Academy Apprenticeships is all about developing digital talent needed by the industry in the way that best works for employers.

We’ve worked with a number of tech employers to develop a groundbreaking technical training programme for software developers, business analysts and data analysts, that continues to deliver industry leading results.

We can support employers to hire new talent through apprenticeship roles as well as up-skiling and training existing employees from across the business into these roles as a great way to retain and utilise existing company knowledge and insights, retaining more valuable staff.

How it works

Our programme operates on a co-design and co-delivery basis with industry members, guaranteeing credibility and relevance within the sector.

Employers are offered the opportunity to help inform and steer the curriculum throughout the programme to ensure it is always relevant to them.

We have programme starts for all apprenticeship pathways periodically throughout the year. Please get in touch to find out more.

Our technical training programmes aligned to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education standards nationally recognised qualifications.

We bring all of our programmes to life with guest speakers and mentors from industry.

  • Apprentices are trained for 18-24 months and assessed for a Level 4 apprenticeship qualification (equivalent to a HNC).
  • All of the training is designed and delivered by experts working in the industry.
  • Apprentices receive cutting-edge technical training underpinned by a strong focus on vital core professional skills.
  • Much of the learning takes place within the apprentices’ workplace teams, completing practical projects and client work for your business under the supervision of a mentor.
  • What it costs

The Apprenticeship Levy means the amount of support your organisation receives to employ an apprentice will vary depending on the size of your company’s payroll (PAYE). Take a look at the funding flowchart to find out what the costs would be for you.

If your company’s payroll is over £3 million a year, then your company will be subject to the Apprenticeship Levy and this will be paid directly to HMRC via PAYE.

We can also support eligible SMEs to access several Apprenticeship Levy transfer funds to support with funding for this training. You also pay your apprentice's salary, which we recommend is at least the Living Wage.

Our employers generally pay an annual salary between £18,000 and £25,000, depending on the wider company employee benefits package.
